More awesome creations from our craft group where we had a little fun with fleece! Jay's Bob-Bomb in fleece is a work of art (it's a character in Mario Brothers' games) that took him the full two hours, and they had great fun making scarves and pillows with appliques in the group.
Fleece is a great fabric because it doesn't fray, so you can just cut and wear if you aren't the sewing type. You can find some cute appliques - I found a lovely cupcake
here and
here - cut them out of felt or fleece, sew them on my by hand, and you've got a one-of-a-kind scarf! Or get some of that plaid fleece you see in the picture to the right and just cut along the lines! Cut a little fringe on the bottom and you have yourself something lovely and easy to make! We made ours about 6 inches (15 cm) for the girls and about 8 inches (20 cm) for the boys. (The green mushroom is a 1-UP from Mario as well.)
