National Gaming Day at your local library!

Although we've participated every year without knowing about it, this Saturday, November 13th, is National Gaming Day at your local library! From the ilovelibraries.org website: "On November 13, 2010, libraries across the country will participate in the largest, simultaneous national video game tournament ever held! Kids will be able to compete against players at other libraries and track their scores while playing at their local library. In addition, libraries will be offering a variety of board games for all ages to play together."

We're holding our event at the Yarrow library from 11:30 to 2:00 (drop in), where we'll be playing Rock Band 3, Super Smash Brothers' Brawl, Mario Party, Mario Kart, and much more! If you know anyone who might be interested in attending, you can e-mail me (Susan) at sjbarclay@telus.net for more information (although, really, that's all the information in one paragraph!).

We're holding our Chilliwack event on Thursday, November 18th at 5:00 to 8:30 (board games), and the Rated T for Teen group on Saturday, November 27th from 1:30 to 4:30!

Check with your local library to see what they're doing to celebrate this awesome occasion!
